25. James⁴ Stepney (Charles⁵) was born in 21 Francis Street Lambeth 2nd May 1847.

He married Ann Nightingale in Lambeth, London, 1869. Ann was born in 94 East Street Lambeth London 16th November 1848. Ann was the daughter of John Nightingale and Mary Heasworth. Ann died 14th May 1883 in 80 East Street, Kennington Road, Lambeth, London, at 34 years of age. At 21 years of age Ann became the mother of James Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1870. At 23 years of age Ann became the mother of William Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1872. At 25 years of age Ann became the mother of Arthur Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1874. At 29 years of age Ann became the mother of Annie Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1878. At 32 years of age Ann became the mother of Emily Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1881. At 34 years of age Ann became the mother of Ann Stepney in 80 East Street, Kennington Road, Lambeth, London, 9th May 1883.

At 23 years of age James became the father of James Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1870. At 25 years of age James became the father of William Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1872. At 27 years of age James became the father of Arthur Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1874. At 31 years of age James became the father of Annie Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1878. At 34 years of age James became the father of Emily Stepney in Lambeth, London, 1881. At 36 years of age James became the father of Ann Stepney in 80 East Street, Kennington Road, Lambeth, London, 9th May 1883.

James Stepney and Ann Nightingale had the following children:
